Just A Few Spring Pictures I Took Today

As I'm not riding I am trying to do a bit of walking, and today I went to a different supermarket and took my camera with me - I took some photos for my requests post of a couple of weeks ago, but also took these pictures of some of the flowers I saw -


 

 

I love seeing the double daffodils, but very few seem to have been around this year - so it was good to spot some.


I also watched this bird pulling apart the plant - ready to pad his nest out ... looks like real comfort!

Beautiful pics my dear! I thought of taking some photos today too, but then again we had typical April-weather..it rained every few minutes - so no nice photos today!

The blossoms are so beautiful and the bird..very smart one..taking the soft things only..:)

I love the flowers, and great shots of the bird too. :) It's cherry blossom time here also. Maybe I should take some pictures, as well! The red flowers, I think, are quince.

The "quince" diagnosis was confirmed by someone else!

Hope to see the cherry - where I grew up we had loads of cherry trees and I still remember the picture they made at this time of year.

Fantastic photos. The spring flowers were late in coming, but they seem to be better than ever this year,

I agree, the red ones are quince - chaenomeles, probably Chaenomeles × superba 'Crimson and Gold (I'm showing off).
