As I'm not riding now, I'm not getting much exercise, so after a day of rain, it dried up and I went for a stroll ... and took the camera -
I wasn't the only one to be out and about!

The Atlantic is always "on the move" and as the wind is building the scene is spectacular - I never get tired of it.

Looks a bit rough! It isn't always like that, is it? I seem to recall pictures in which things are much more tranquil. :)

The Atlantic tends to vary from day to day according to the wind, so, yes, I have posted calmer pictures.
However this is a choppy look, and being on one of the surf areas we also are known for having a clean (up to) 8 foot wave from time to time.

I'm a landlocked girl so your images of the sea are as close as I've ever been. Looks sort of rough to me.

Yes, pretty choppy today - The Atlantic is always "on the move" and as the wind is building the scene is spectacular - I never get tired of it.
I really must try to capture a clean surfing wave one day ... we can get up to 8 foot here.

We've got the same weather - only too wet to take the camera out. Which is a pity as the sea does look wonderful in your pictures.

It's one of those views (etc) that I never seem to quite fully capture - only people who know this sea know what I mean.
I was lucky it dried out this afternoon.

Wow that is so lovely. You know rough seas make me panic. I am such an inland guy. It is very, very beautiful though.

You obviously told Jiffy, as he won't go in the sea either, even though he will get wet elsewhere!

I really like the last one. A wild ocean is always awesome to me and when we go to the sea on Summer I can stay a long time on the beach just enjoying the sight

Wow! Those photos of the ocean are impressive. What are the stone structures in the second picture? Looks like the base of a castle.

I love the variety the sea is always giving - always changing.
I had to check - it is the outer lock gates. Bude has the only working sea lock gates in England ... and this is the outer wall.

Can you imagine what it was like to work on them?
