As I'm not riding now, I'm not getting much exercise, so after a day of rain, it dried up and I went for a stroll ... and took the camera -

I wasn't the only one to be out and about!

Looks a bit rough! It isn't always like that, is it? I seem to recall pictures in which things are much more tranquil. :)

I'm a landlocked girl so your images of the sea are as close as I've ever been. Looks sort of rough to me.

We've got the same weather - only too wet to take the camera out. Which is a pity as the sea does look wonderful in your pictures.

Wow that is so lovely. You know rough seas make me panic. I am such an inland guy. It is very, very beautiful though.

I really like the last one. A wild ocean is always awesome to me and when we go to the sea on Summer I can stay a long time on the beach just enjoying the sight

You're lucky to live by the sea. I love to look at it ,but don't live close to it. I will NOT swim in it allthough it is very beautiful. Great pics.

Isn't fantastic how the sea can have so many facets from glass smooth to wild and rough. Great pictures Deborah :)

I love the last picture! The Atlantic gets just as wild here, with choppy waves. Sometimes it's crazy! But I love the ocean. :)

Wow! Those photos of the ocean are impressive. What are the stone structures in the second picture? Looks like the base of a castle.

Gee. I've never heard of sea locks and I looked up some info
http://www.towpathtreks.co.uk/Other/bude.html.

Can you imagine what it was like to work on them?
