Suprise, suprise - you get a few of my favourite Spuffy fics listed - if I listed them all, I would still be typing at Christmas. There are so many - where do I start? Anyway - here are 4 of my favourite ones ... then a couple of my favourite Christmas ones ... seeing as it is a good excuse to get festive!

The ultimate Time travel fic - Buffy and Spike and sent back, during the season 2 episode, Hallowean, into the past ... 200 years into the past.

Thanks for the list of favorite fanfics. I was db2305's beta for many years. Actions Past is one of my favorites also. I don't remember the names of many of the fics that I loved when I read them. Now I rarely read fanfic unless it is written by one of my favorite writers. Unfortunately many of these have left significant works unfinished.

It was one of the first fics I ever read - loved it ... and still do!

Yes, when I first discovered fan-fic, I got caught out a few times - now I only ever read complete fics (unless I am judging). I hate getting into a story and then ... no finish!

I still read mostly Spuffy fan-fic - I just love the whole idea of their story. And it's what got me into LJ in the first place!

I found Spuffy fanfic through several yahoo groups like SpikesSalvation while BtVS was still running. Through the groups I encountered dutchbuffy2305, rahirah, spikewriter, etc. When many of these people migrated to LJ, I followed after spikewriter offered me an invite code.

I didn't even start watching BtVS until near the end of season 7! And it was in attempting my first fan-fic, and looking for a Beta I headed towards LJ (no invite code needed!)

They discontinued the invite codes not too long after I joined.

It is a great fic - there were some other earlier ones I wanted to list, but the sites have since gone down. But Actions Past is one I have read many, many times.

Great selection! I remember reading and enjoying "Actions Past". "I don’t bleeding shag my food!" is one of my all-time favorite Spike lines in fanfiction.

It's so hard to just pick a couple, when there are so many great fics out there - but it was nice to remind people about Actions Past, still a great re-read.
