I have just walked him out of his field, looped the rope over his neck, after closing the gate, to take this picture. He is so busy eating, he hadn't realised he was actually "free" .... mind you, he had stepped forward, and onto his rope - LOL
Great thing in this part of England - normally we get enough rain and sun to keep the fields looking good all the year round - Last year was the only year I had to buy DJ hay, as the grass wasn't there during winter.
Awww..I love it when the winter hair is growing..horses get sooo soft then..*sigh* I so want to run my fingers through his hair now...
I wished my cousin´s horse would be half as well trained as DJ..as soon Lucy knows that there´s no power in the electric fense, she´s up and away...and if you are lucky enough to get a grip on her headgear she won´t move one little bit..and you have to be cautious, bc Lucy likes to bite and kick in every direction..she´s (forgive my words) a really bitchy horse!
