366 MEME - Day 251 - More Cleaning

No work, feeling rough, as I can't breathe - but still trying to stay positive.  So, my lounge has had a good clean today .... Not a great pic as its hard to get a full idea within a smallish room.  However, having seen my treatment room earlier in the week, now this, at least you can say that "minimalist" is something I am not!

My brother Tim is minimalistic - and I tend to not even want to sit on the sofa in case I leave a dent in the cushion!

Yes - eveything was a pressie or a souveneir - lots of memories.

yeah I like to have memories and stuff around me. Not everyone likes it though. And I know exactly what you mean about not daring to mess up a home like that, it's not comfortable for to be in them LOL

I love crochet - and granny squares are both traditional, but very colourful. Something I can do while I watch TV!

I love crochet as well. I haven't done much needlework in awhile but plan to spend less time on the computer and more with crochet and counted cross stitch (my favorite) in the next couple of months before school starts.

Where do you set up your jigsaw puzzle? Do you have one of those roll-up thingies?

You can't see it from this angle - but if you peep under the sofa, you will see a sheet of hardboard .... and it's got a 3/4 completed one on it!

Work situation doesn't sound encouraging either, but I'm glad you're still looking at everything positively. Chin up!

Yes, well spotted, Karen. It is due to the problems I had last year, and at the start of this year that I am still suffering. I have an internal problem with my lungs, so what was a smallish cold has flared up the breathing. But, at least I know not to panic for the fact I can't breathe!

Work is still slow - and I am actively looking for other work - but hard at 48 to know which way to turn.
