So Near .... Yet, So Far

Yes - James this coming 2 weekends!

I don't have the money to go to see him, and although that was a decision I reluctantly made a few weeks ago, and am sticking to, it is hard to read about people I know who will be going.  Friends will be there - who I shall miss seeing, as well.

Overall I know it is right, but doesn't stop me feeling sad ... and then as my clock-radio switched on this morning, it was a sad song playing.  Just what I need!

I know a lot of my friends have never even met James for the first time - so I am going to focus on the good thing of having met him already ... and try to look forward to February and the chance to see hi again.

I do sincerely hope that all my friends will have a great time - I shall miss you, and miss being there.

Have fun ...

... and give my love to James!

Yeah, that's what I was going through when Isabel (who you met) went to Dragon*Con. I won't make it to the even in February so you'll give him a hug from me then :)

I badly wanted to go to Hallowhedon, but it was money issues that stopped me... then the irony is, I finally got a job and can now afford to go... but I'm working that weekend!

And the other one he's going to is actually here in Birmingham, but again... I'm working and as it's a new job, can't take any more time off.

*sigh* I'm sure there will be more opportunities! But like you, there are people I've talked to and chatted to going that I would like to meet. Ah, well...

Yes, the Hallowedon would have been my favourite - but the date wasn't great.

Birmingham is drivable from Torquay - but the money to go in ... hard!

Oh well - lets aim to meet up in February.

Sorry you're feeling blue. But good for you for making the decision you needed to. I was pretty poor back in *NSYNC's heyday, and I spent all the money I could on them, but there were certain things I didn't get to do. It's hard, but it does make the times you do get see your fella (or fellas in my case!) even more special. :D

Just keep your mind on February when you get to see him!

Yes - a hard decision to make, but was OK about it until I started to read of friends plans!

Oh well - I am luckier than many, as I have seen him ... and will again.
