366 MEME - Day 202 - Bude.

You have seen picrures from near my house looking down to the river, and up the hill opposite. Well, in this picture, I am standing at the river, and looking up the road that leads to my house (yes, the road is only car width!!)

The Carriers Pub is the oldest pub in Bude - but try as I might, I can't get a date for you ... Sorry!

Yes - we always laugh and say "breathe in" That road is literally (English) car wide!

Yeah your typical American SUV wouldn't be able to get off the highway over there. When we were there we were on a tour bus and had to get off and walk to the hotel because the bus was too big to get near it.

Apparantly they do great food - nice to eat on that terrace, watching people pass by.

I don't always comment, but I do enjoy all the pictures you post Deborah. It's like being a tourist taking in the sites whilst still being at home. I know not as exciting but definiately a loverly way to enjoy your part of the world anyway.
