366 MEME - Day 186 - Bude.

As Bude is a smallish town, it easily gets snarled up with traffic during "silly season", so came in the other way, dropped over to the other main beach - just to take a picture across the beaches - The point of rock with the barrel ornament on, is where I normally walk to take the pictures you see.

Sounds and looks somewhat like Newport, RI in the summer. People have bumper stickers... "welcome to Newport, now go home." and "if it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?". Just lovely! :-p

LOL - We do, as I said, call it "Silly Season" - as you have seen by some of the pics, it is a great, but small town, and so traffic slows quickly! Still, can't overall complain as it is how we all survive!

Now this was the entry I've been scrolling back to find, just wanted to say how much I love this picture. Reminds me of the day we spent at Teignmouth a couple of weeks ago on a similar sort of beach. I love when the tide goes out and leaves rockpools to go splashing and exploring in.

It just gives that much more depth to a beach doesn't it? I like Teinmouth - near enough from Mum and Dad's ... great for a stoll, or a ramble on the beach - Hope that you had a great time.
