Date: 2009-07-05 01:03 am (UTC)We woke up early, had breakfast cooked by the firefighters, saw a Life Flight helicopter land and got to sit in in, saw a parade, ate lots of candy, had barbecue chicken cooked by the church and mom's potato salad, are now lazing about Mom and Dad's house, I'm burnt to a crisp from watching the parade in no shade (even though I slathered SPF 50 sunscreen) and are now awaiting dusk so we can put on a little fireworks show in Grandma and Grandpa's driveway.
Been a good Fourth so far - thanks for thinking of us!
