I have just walked down to vote, at the polling station I have used for 20 years, to find I am no longer registered there.

Guess who didn't check my card!

So, I have had to come back, in the hopes that I still have the card (which I do - it was in re-cycling!!), and now I'm off again, to my new Polling Station!

Oddly enough my polling station changed as well. I think the tellers must have the patience of many saints. One yellow form - two votes, one green form, 1 vote. So guy next to me turms round and says to them, "I vote for everyone I like on this yellow form. Right" Patient explanation. A few seconds later, "i can vote for 2 people on the green form. Right?" More explanations. Then, "Are you sure I can't vote for more than 2 people on the yellow form? I want to vote for 3"

I want to kill you, I felt like screaming. He wasn't old and didn't look that dense.

Did your polling room have a clever little stick to push the yellow forms into the box as they are so thick when you fold them up? And do you think they keep the pencils tied to the pieces of string from one election to another?

Doh. That's annoying when they re-district the polling places after many years. Happened to my G'parents a few years ago. I figured out for them online where they were supposed to go.

Glad you figured yours out and got to vote! Hope your choices win! hehe.
