Wow, I've never even seen a ocean so this looks like sea is a bit rough. Is this the normal way it looks?

This is fairly normal on a windy day - you will see some more pics in a moment.

We have had gale force winds for about 5 days, and it is still 30 mph winds out there at present. Added to that, our next nearest neighbours are America!

I live in Bude which is North West Cornwall (not far from Tintagel, if you know King Arthur) - so America is our neighbour!

Ah cool, I've only ever been to Cornwall once, Par, I think it was called - near St. Austell. Spent most of my time on the south coast on the Isle of Wight.

You were lucky with the weather today, here in the midlands we've just had rain, rain and more rain!

Well, Bude has it's own micro-climate ... in fact it was very cloudy all around us - so I shall have to ask Toni waht weather they had when I see her tomorrow - she is 20mins drive north, and often has much worse weather.

I haven't been to St Austell, or Par!
