For those who haven't already seen it, James monthly Q&A is up.

One of the questions was would he eat a tarantula for $1,000 - and he said "Yes", it's their turn to be scared.

So, next time I'm running from our small English spiders, I shall have to give him a ring!

Love James' sense of humor. Spiders never bother me. We had tarantulas in our yard here in Texas. We would mow the lawn and they would pop out. We had a beagle who would play with them sort of like a cat would a mouse. We have what we call waterbugs where are very much like a huge cockroach. They fly and are not afraid of humans. They will jump on you. I hate those. I chase them around to smack them to death.

My ex was in the Army. He had a guy in his unit that had been a marine at one time. The guy like to put down the Army and say the Marines were the better trained service. They were out in the field where he was going on about how Marines learned to live off the land. A spider was crawling by and he grabbed it and swallowed it. Soon he got very ill. He ended up with lockjaw. We teased him about that for a long time.

He's probably seen Bizzare Foods where Andrew Zimmern eats anything - and I mean anything. He says tarantulas are pretty tasty.

My niece and her boyfriend recently visited Vietnam and Cambodia. They ate a big fried spider. It gave them the runs!

You and me both. And he could get to my place quicker! I detest spiders. They make me freeze up and I hate losing control.

I'd eat one for a$1,000 though, if it was chopped up in tiny pieces and mixed in with something I could stand to eat. LOL! I could use the cash right now.
