Blood Count Update

debris4spikeFurther to my post yesterday Poor Blood Count I have seen my doctor today.
He said that as well as low level haemoglobin my blood cells were slightly small - Overall not too bad; but he has requested a full blood count, liver and kidney tests as well as tests for both Coeliac disease and Thyroid problems.
He said that overall nothing was worrying, but that the tests would give some idea which way to progress, as to whether it is still the body recovering from the shock of my injury - or if I need other treatment.
Blood tests tomorrow - with a 10 day wait for results!!
Although he does want me to start iron as soon as they have the blood - that way I should feel less tired ... well, I didn't tell him that I want to be feeling on top form at the beginning of next month!!
