What Time?

I got to DJ's at 8am ... I don't know who was more shocked, him or me!  He still managed to eat his carrot though!

We then walked in and I did a very quick groom, before tacking him up, just in time to be finished as Toni did Junior.  They have friends coming, thus it was an early start ...

And a short ride.

We went "up the road and back", but because it was Junior, DJ had to jog or trot the whole way.

Then, back home, a feed and back to his field - to enjoy the rest of the day off.

While I had to come back and make sure his box shone - Toni's friends are perfectionists!!

I managed to ride my mare today. We have our first show in almost a year on Sunday. Gulp!

She was a really good girl so fingers crossed she'll be okay - one of the judges may ride her and I'm not sure that she'll like him - but only time will tell.

I watched Toni compete Badger once, and when the judge got off he said it was an "interesting ride"!!

Toni has no trek for about 10 weeks, so is annoyed about that - is hoping to do a couple of fun rides or show jumping to keep Smudge in focus.
