Just A Thought On My Bible Reading This Morning.

As you know, from time to time, I get depressed about being alone, yet, I know that God has great plans for me.

Todays reading had these verses :-

"When you go out ... do not be afraid. 
The Lord your God ... is with you.
Do not be afraid.
Do not lose heart or panic.
For the Lord you God is going with you.
And He will give you victory"
Deuteronomy 20 v 1 - 4 (NLT)

I wish I could remeber that at all times.  If someone asks me, I know it is my obvious answer ... I know it is true.  Yet, when I am quiet, all I think of are my sad wishes ... Those who have read so far, remember to point me back here when I get fed up ... Thanks!!

No we are never alone and also know there are souls out here who are "with" you at least in the heart.

You are special. How odd that a diamond has been unseen all this time? Makes no sense but God has his reasons and one day they will make sense.

God has a purpose for each of us. We might not understand, but it will come clear to us someday. I often wondered why I spent so many years in a horrible marriage. Then one day, my stepson said that if I had not been in his life he would never have made it to be an adult. Then I understood why I was given the burden of a bad marriage so I could have the chance to make a difference in my stepson's life. God leads us in the darkness.

Thank you for sharing that .... great to know what a positive relationship you are left with, and an obviously "nice" step-son.

It is easier to see the "whys" when you are on the other side, but harder at the time.
