Just a short post, with no real spoilers!

Claire took me to see the film ... not that she is a James fan (weird girl) or she likes any form of action film, but that she didn't want me to go by myself.

However, we both loved it - liked the action, enjoyed that most of the main characters had similar screen time  (although could have done with a lot, lot more Piccolo), liked some of the quips/gadgets etc ... so, yes, we say "Thumbs Up"  - Good film, a great night out.

We actually went to the first showing, so it wasn't a busy screening ... as the credits started rolling, Claire stayed still, until she nudged me in the ribs as James names appeared - I must admit that was special.  However, it also meant we actually saw all the film - Hope those who have seen it saw the ending ... and as the lights came back on, we realised we were the only ones left in the cinema ... so the only ones to see the complete story ... YAY!!!

So, as I said - Thumbs Up ... sequal please, but more Piccolo next time!

edenskye and I have learned to wait till all the credits roll by before leaving. Lots of movies have a last scene mixed into the credits. We enjoyed the movie. We usually go to the first movie of the day. It's cheaper and kids are still in school so the theater is not packed.

Yes, I remember that in Pirates they did that - but it is so rarely I go to the cinema, it didn't occur to me ... it was just Claire letting me be a fan-girl!!

That would be great, if so. This was a good film, unless you were a James fan (!), as the action was evenly divided!

Definitely! And it was a good film, I do get why some fans were a bit pissed but it's not easy to take a story like Goku's and turning into a big screen movie and do everything exactly like the manga or anime, it would look ridiculos. I think they did a great job with the movie. A bit disappointing that there wasn't more James, hopefully there'll be more in the future! Oh, I remember when I checked the newspaper for the theater schedule and saw James name, it was so cool, I had a total fangirl moment! LOL

I'm glad you both enjoyed it - and that you were there right til the end to see poor old Siccolo.

I still haven't managed to convince the children that they'd like to see the film, and I'm not comfortable going on my own, so the sooner they get that DVD out the better. :D

Hadn't seen any spoilers, so it's only as I was a sad fan that we stayed to see James name on the credits!!
