I am having a morning of getting things done ... and catching up with LJ, of course.
Anyway, I phoned Toni to say I wouldn't be riding, and asked how she got on yesterday - her first trek of the new season ... and heard how asleep Smudge was, then how naughty he was ... and they came first!!!! Yay!!
Just had an e-mail from Eric, Mum and Dad's neighbour - the one with kidney cancer .... only it turns out not to be cancer, so having gone from being told he would lose both kidneys, he is now looking at some pills to clear up the infection ... Yay
So, great news from friends - and that always makes me happy.
