Anyway, this morning as I was coming back from riding, I stopped at Kilkhampton Church to take photos of the flowers that my friend's mum had for her funeral. I don't know whether she will have thought about it ... or even if she wants them, but they are taken now ... Better safe than sorry.
Anyway, thought I would share with you one picture of the grave - as well as 4 pictures of the Church.

Ooops - I now realised that all of them have "leaning towers" ... Must concentrate more!!!!

Date: 2009-04-02 09:01 pm (UTC)We have some Church yards that have been flattened - but a lot have gone to having all the stones in a border, then the grass can be mowed, but you can still have the stone of your choice ... which I think is great.

My posting date is the 5th. It's a Sunday, when I'm in and out of church most of the day. And I have a few things to post that I wanted to spread out through the day. I do have one more poem and some icons I still have to work on. So thanks for the reminder that I need to get crackin' :)

Date: 2009-04-03 07:22 am (UTC)I did do some writing ... just the fic seems to be slow moving in story ... must focus and scribble. I asked for a non-W/E as I don't always know how much internet I can get at Mum and Dad's.
Looking forward to seeing ... and reading your work.

Date: 2009-04-03 02:05 pm (UTC)That's a good looking church (just how a church should look, I think). The flowers are very pretty too - I'm sure your friend will appreciate the fact that you took some pictures for her.
