Don't tell my Beta ... I'm meant to be writing, as my [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy  date is fast approaching, and I haven't scribbled things yet!

Anyway, this morning as I was coming back from riding, I stopped at Kilkhampton Church to take photos of the flowers that my friend's mum had for her funeral. I don't know whether she will have thought about it ... or even if she wants them, but they are taken now ... Better safe than sorry.

Anyway, thought I would share with you one picture of the grave - as well as 4 pictures of the Church.

Awwww..These are beautiful pictures!! I always enjoy it when you post pictures of your area! And all those flowers!! *sigh* Over here there aren´t that much flowers yet. Church and grave-yard are really beautiful..I can´t remember, did you already take pictures from the inside of the church? If not, that would be my request for your 365 day meme..(which I love btw..gg)

:)

The church and grounds are so pretty. Our newer graveyards do not allow flowers to be left on the grave very long. Markers are level with the ground now. Older graveyards are so unusual and the markers so interesting.

Gorgeous pics. I really like the third one down. Love the path with the flowers.

The good thing is Mabel is away until tomorrow, so she won't know that you are procrastinating. LOL!

My posting date is the 5th. It's a Sunday, when I'm in and out of church most of the day. And I have a few things to post that I wanted to spread out through the day. I do have one more poem and some icons I still have to work on. So thanks for the reminder that I need to get crackin' :)

Serene and tranquil. The grounds are well kept and add to the air of peace.

I also would like to see more photos of the insides of churches.

Your picture are always so wonderful to look, even if the towers are leaning and I wouldn't have noticed until you pointed it out;>

Condolences to your friend, the flowers are quite loverly and made a sad spot look very pretty.

*tilts head the other way to compensate for leaning towers* :D (though it's only noticeable in the third one, anyway).

That's a good looking church (just how a church should look, I think). The flowers are very pretty too - I'm sure your friend will appreciate the fact that you took some pictures for her.
