That Is Annoying!

I only watch TV on a Sunday very rarely - but don't ever miss The Boat Race .... An annual boat race along The Thames for teams from Oxford and Cambridge universities (More details of this years event Here .)

Today was the day ...

And Cambridge lost ... I still say they were cut-up by Oxford!!

Still - Cambridge is still winning 79:75!

Does your family avoid doing things on Sunday and try to keep it just for religion? I remember my grandmother not even cooking on Sunday. When I was younger, most stores were closed on Sunday. There were things you could not even purchase on a Sunday according to what was called the Blue Laws. Now you can't purchase alcohol before noon on Sunday.

Yes I tend to "Keep Sunday Special" ... It is how I was brought up but still stick to it - Thats why I'm not going to see James on the Sunday (will admit that was a hard choice)

But - I think if I compromise on this, I would end up compromising on other things .... and than where would I be.

I will buy petrol, milk ... even other food if necessary, but wouldn't just go to the shops, museum etc.
