366 MEME - Day 41 - A Robin!

I told you that it did brighten up this afternoon - and guess what I saw in a neighbours bird feeder - a Robin. It's not a great pic - it was a shy robin, but lovely to spot anyway!

They are adorable - one of the few birds I recognise!

Pretty pretty robin-we see them here only during their migration. They eat and run- visiting the far south to eat our berries and then leave for home again. :-)

I played the recording of the robin and they have a beautiful song. I read that the nightingale is related to it. The things you learn!!

Our robin is related but doesn't migrate here until later. I'll try to get a picture.
