Only 99% Perfect!

Things were going really well again today, then Ros and I spoke too soon!!

Yes, it was a bit of a later start today, but he came in, was groomed, and walked up to eet Ros and "no-name" well - we walked towards the Church and then down the canter track.

From there it is a hill down and back up - and the really great news is that although DJ wasn't wearing his boots, he was hoping for something faster on the track - and walked cleanly down, and steadily up the road - So, that was grea to feel that he is happy with the injury of his leg.

Then, almost home, and disaster struck ... he was threatened .... and had to reverse a cople of steps to review the situation, before slithering past.

There was a sheet of A4 paper in the hedge, that obviously was out to kill!

Poor boy!

Anyway, he recovered from the shock, and managed to get back in form to walk calmly the rest of the way home.

And he was definately recovered enough to ask for his feed!!

Happy to hear that DJ is improving. I so understand how he freaked a bit about the threat of the paper. My Max is terrified of any sort of change. We can't move his pillow or add something new to our home without it upsetting him. Once a balloon floated into our backyard. He was terrified to go outside till I removed it. Now if a plastic bag finds it way into the yard, he attacks it and rends it to pieces before it can harm any of us.

Obviously DJ needs Max to go in front and clear the path for him!

He is doing so much better, than really I am very pleased with him at present.

The injury didn't stop him! Good news.

Hope he is fully recovered. [And does not have to battle any more enemies.]

Yes - he is doing well, both from his injuries and basiocally with traffic etc ... just killer paper is what he has to battle!

Goodness me we will have to put out a warning about those dangerous A4 papers and how they are lurking the neighbourhood waiting to jump. *lol*

MMmmmm - I agree. I have less worries about this scaring him, than when it is something he sees every day - that then makes me wonder what invisible alien is sitting on it!!!
