debris4spike: (No Way - Cap'n John)

As I drove to Plymouth this morning it was a very foogy trip.  My journey takes me along the Devon-Cornwall border, which is actually the River Tamar - hence the murky conditions today.

Not something to worry about ... well that is until the last 10 miles, when I had to cut across the edge of Dartmoor.

How many of you have read the stories of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles?  Well, on a day like today, you do begin to wonder?

"giggles" How completely appropriate! I just finished re-reading The Moor by Laurie R. King which deals with Holmes and Russell investigating Dartmoor.

Where I grew up we have fog that completely covers an area. It's like going through a cloud. When I lived in Germany, I saw fog rolling across water and the ground at about knee level. Freaked me out. It was like an special effects from a horror movie. I have read all of the Sherlock Holmes novels and love the movies.
