366 MEME - Day 2 - Mum.

Lots of things in my life are special to me, but thought I would share a picture with you of "The Birthday Girl".

Mum had Bells Palsey a few years ago and hates having her photo taken, but I managed to get this one of her at the end of dinner. We had a good day, with my brother Tim and his wife coming over as well.

I had Bells Palsey a few years ago, when I was 19 and 25 but my face back back after a few months. But it is very upsetting when it happens.

Thanks - it is hard for her. She had it on one side when she was 25 and it healed ... but this second side has left her with some complications - that she is incredibly self-conscious about.

I just wanted to say that I abosolutely adore this photo of your mum. The lighting and the profile say so much - you should enter it into a contest! It's awesome!

It seems to convey a wistful longing for days of old, possibly.

Tell your mom not to begrudge photos: daughters treasure mom pictures - there are never enough. Mom is the most beautiful lady that ever existed.
