Jiffy - Pic Scam 1

I took some photos of Jiffy over the weekend ... these 4 show him "hard at work" ... well lying somewhere comfy, also of his early Christmas pressie that Mum made him.   She was going to make him wait for the 25th but often in a morning he is very lethargic, and I think he has been feeling the cold overnight, so Mum has knitted him a jumper, that he immediately loved.

How cute is Jiffy in his new sweater! My Athena would be okay with a sweater, but her brother, Max, would freak out. He hates change and can't stand to have something like a sweater on him.

We were stunned that he just sat there and let me put it on him ... then remove it. Then, that evening as I got it off the table he came over and sat by me ... he must have felt very snug in it.

My MIL has two little dogs - Harley and Seamus. Harley loooooooooooves her little coat, but Seamus locks up when you put his coat on. He won't move or anything. It's the weirdest thing.

Sammy has a coat that we bought him from LL Bean, but I think it's a little too short for him now that he's fully grown. It might be time to replace it.

Oh I know what you mean about Seamus - when DJ first wore his legs strapped, nothing wanted to bend - he tried walking by keeping the whole leg still and straight!

And - thanks - I was going to send you a message,as the pattern came from the web site that you linked me to for the glove patterns!

Aww he does look cute in his jumper - my Boxer used to feel the cold as Boxers only have a single coat so feel the cold very easily. At night she used to wear one of old mohair jumpers that had shrunk, she would wait for me to put it on and would sleep very soundly at night in it.

Yes, he was the same - he had to try it on to see if it was OK - which is when I grabbed the pics ... then that eve as I took it off the counter he came over and sat by me, obviously waiting for his warm p-j's!!

We have never had this before as we have had spaniels - and are suprised that Jiffy will feel cold, but he has appeared to, hense the knitting from Mum.

I wondered how he did react to the new sweater but I've read now he likes it. I thought he'd maybe against it :)
But good against the cold.
