5 Thing MEME
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 07:45 pmJust finished late tea (I am one of those people who like to eat meals early-ish) ... and before I switch off the computer thought I would do the 5-thing MEME which I have seen on lots of LJs ... last one being
5 things I was doing 10 years ago:
1 - Just starting to learn to canter.
2 - I had just bought my last car - a new Ford Puma.
3 - Same job, Mum and Dad in Torquay ... so weekly trips ... Not much changes.
4 - Just joined our present Church.
5 - Just bough my saxophone with money given to me in a legacy.
5 things on my to-do-list for today
Well - the day is almost finished ... so I will do my wish-list for tomorrow!
1 - Go to Bank.
2 - Finish last years accounts (LOL) and get in touch with accountant.
3 - Write to 2 of my aunts.
4 - Play my sax.
5 - Clean my bedroom.
5 snacks I enjoy:
1 - Plums.
2 - Coconut rings or Nice biscuits.
3 - Toffees (!)
4 - Pineapple.
5 - Chocolate covered biscuit ... from the fridge.
5 things I would do if I were a multi- millionaire:
1 - Pay off my bills, my brothers bills ... give some money to them and to Mum and Dad.
2 - Travel.
3 - Give donations to small charities - like local animal sancturies.
4 - Buy my (real) friends things they have always thought was impossible - eg Toni would get an indoor riding school.
5 - Move to a bigger house and re-decorate in my style ... more space to store more junk!
5 of my bad habits:
1 - Procrastination.
2 - Untidyness.
3 - Solitude - I can't go to places I don't know etc
4 - Love fatty foods.
5 - Quick tempered.
5 places I have lived in:
1 - Bude.
2 - Flint, North Wales.
3 - Upminster, Essex.
4 - Ilford, Essex.
5 - To get the 5 I will have to say Torquay - well I live there at weekends.
5 jobs I've had:
1 - Osteopath.
2 - Groom.
3 - Shop assistant.
4 - Baby sitter.
5 - Sunday School teacher!

Grooming is what the technical term is for brushing (etc) horses ... you may notice me used that verb when I am talking about DJ. In other words I was unqualified, but worked at a stables ... in actual fact I did more as I also helped teach, and took out rides ... but as no exams taken I was only allowed to be called a groom!!
