She gave me the letter G ... and immediately panic set in! So I had a thought ... and another thought and eventually thought of 5 people for my list -

1. Giles - Buffy, the Vampire Slayer
I am re-watching early BtVS, and really love Giles in these episodes. Today I saw him in "Passion" and I wept for him.
The whole series was full of great characters (played by superb actors), and this is why it still has a special place in my heart

2. Gwen - Torchwood
She is feisty - and just what I wish I could be ... and she ended up kissing Cap'n John, so I am very envious!!
The whole series is again one I love. Gwen's story line has been full all the way through, and even though I find a coupe of minor faults in her character, I like it that she is multi-facetted.

3. Gan - Blakes 7
My first fan-dom ... and I am still a member!
Gan was great in the first couple of episodes, but sadly his character was under-used. I wish the writers had built on his inital personality, and not just focussed on his size (and his limiter)

4. Guinan - Star Trek, Next Generation
She is lovely. And stunning to see Whoopie Golberg being so quiet. One of the things of a lot of long-term shows is the use of such characters, that can come and go; but gat used to add depth to a storyline.

5. Grandma - Thunderbirds
Well, I must admit, I had problems finding characters beginning with "G" - But I am genuinly a Thunderbirds fan. Grandma was another of those characters who weren't on often, but she had some great lines when she did!

So, there is my list completed - and it was harder than I thought it would be.
