Dragon Con

I know I am a bit early - but I just want to wish all my friends who are going to DragonCon, both safe travelling, and a really great weekend.

I am jealous of those of you who will be seeing James, but am looking forward to seeing the pics and reading the reports.

Have a really great time, all of you ... and good luk to those hoping to get tickets for the "meal".

Tommy and I leave on Thursday for Atlanta. I don't think we will be able to get tickets to the "meal" with James. Seems Tommy's sister who promised to drive us each day won't be able to drop us off on Friday morning to buy the tickets. She works that day and says now she can't take us that day at all it seems. Can't tell you how disappointed I will be if we don't even get a change to go to DragonCon on Friday, much less be there for a chance at the tickets. Guess I am being shelfish. This will be the only fan event I ever get to go to so I really was excited.

Oh, sorry to hear about the possible change of plans - I knew it was a first ... so hope things really do work out for you. Any of the Q&A's with James are great - I have only been to 2 (on the same day!) ... but they are good fun. Anyway - the 5 seconds you will spend near him for the pic will be amazing - enjoy it!

Yes and No ... I know you were looking forward to this event, and had planned to make the most of the whole thing - I have never been to a Con, only individual concerts, but can guess how amazing the whole experience is.

Hope you get to the event - although in all honesty I do wonder if the tickets for the meal will go to true fans ... I hope so, but somehow the cynical side of me doubts it ... so focus on the rest - and hope to get there for some of Friday at least.

Enjoy the pic ... That will be a very special few seconds, I can assure you ... even though you will feel my jealousy from here ... LOL

I'm leaving early Thursday morning for my trip down. Should take me about 8 hours and I'll get there right as registration opens on Thursday. I'm hoping to get that tackled relatively quickly so I can get checked into my hotel.

I'm unsure what gawdawful hour I'll have to get up Friday am to get in queue for James tickets for his Saturday schtick. I'm just hoping everyone is going to be to broke to want to do it. *fingers crossed*

Thanks, love. Our flight leaves Philly at OHMYGODSIXTHIRTYAM on Friday. We should be at the hotel by 10 provided the weather-airline-gods shine upon us. In plenty of time for his Q&A and the photo shoot. (My ticket is already paid for - we pick it up at registration - SQUEE!)

So ... now... the real question... what do I ask during the Q&A?

As to a question - I've only been to one Q&A and even if I had thought of something I would never have dared ... LOL
