Friday, July 18th, 2008 03:06 pm I am waiting for Mum, Dad and Jiffy to arrive for the weekend again.
I am playing in a concert, that they are not allowed to attend, because it is on G.C.H.Q. property. So on Saturday they are going to visit friends near where DJ lives. So should be a nice break for them - and means I don't have to do the drive this weekend!
The house is clean and organised, so I am filling in time by doing a meme that I snagged from
kudagirl ... just another of those question types. I do enjoy doing them as it makes me think about what is going on in my life, and to be able to realise (again) that there are a lot of positives.
Hope that you all have a fun weekend.

Date: 2008-07-18 03:07 pm (UTC)When my mom was alive I did all the driving since she couldn't. I would spend all my days off with her taking her places. I was with her in the ER till she had a massive heart attack. They rushed her out. She died moments later. That's the closest I have been to anyone dying. I was sad, but glad I could be with her the last moments she had.

Your mom's name is really pretty. Never had plum pie, you have the same favorite number and holiday as me. What is Pineapple Pavlova? So when can I come for a visit? :) lol

Date: 2008-07-19 08:52 am (UTC)Yes, I love reading others memes for the same reason as you, but like I said I also find some of them interesting and positive to do on a personal level.
Pavlova - a meringue nest ... with cream, and fruit of your choice ... yummy ... you visit and it will be on the menu!

Date: 2008-07-19 08:49 am (UTC)Government Central Head Quarters (I think) ... There are 2 in England, a tracking station here in North Cornwall and one in Cheltenham.
We don't know what (or who) they are tracking - but it is there ... and has many USA visitors ... as in people who work there, not tourists ... LOL. Our friends in Colorado have a son who works for NASA and apparantly has visited a few times!
