Not quite enough candles on the cake ... she is 82!! On Maundy Thursday when she attended the Maunday Money service -t was one of the largest gifts ever ... 82 coins to 82 men and women!

It is great to see both her and Prince Phillip still working - maybe that's why they are looking well, and keeping their marbles as well!

There's talk here again of becoming a republic but I'm quite fond of Queen Liz and her wacky family, so Happy Birthday ER, long may you reign over us ...

There are often a few moans here - but I am a true Royalist ... love most of the family - and am glad that we have a Sovereign.
Trouble is that whatever they do someone will feel it is wrong - which I do feel very sorry for them at this point

I wish her many more- she does look good for her age. But didn't the Queen Mum live to a ripe old age also? Must be the genes....
