Just Something I Need To Remind Myself

Yes - there is always something at the back of my mind - so silly I can't even begin to write about it ... Maybe one year!!

So just wanted to remind myself of a verse I read this morning -

"The Lord is good. When trouble comes he is a strong refuge. He knows everyone who trusts in Him"
Nahum 1 v 7

Like I said last week - God's timing is perfect!  

I just need to keep telling myself that - Keep reminding me of it, please!!

Don't know if you know but that Psalm (which is one of my favourites - so thanks for the reminder) has been turned into a song in modern hymn books to the tune Dambusters ... one of my favourite Film themes.

And now I'm trying to imagine a church full of people singing The Dam Buster's March :)

I once almost got into trouble for giggling in church , it was a very modern servive in York Minster, the type where they sing choruses , One of which had the line " He is high and exalted and his train fills the temple" which gave me the mental image of an Inter City 125 charging round The Minster :)

Yes - I know that song and I have always had the same thought!! Hard to be "Holy" when you are being run over by British Rail!!
