Date: 2008-04-03 08:23 pm (UTC)1) - November 2007, Cardiff - James' fan event. The friendship of the fans, (not just saying that 'cos it is you I am replying to!) the open-ness of James. James was just so relaxed that afternoon - and I got my hug!
2) - Union Chapel 2007 - My first ever concert (that I wasn't playing in) - I was overawed by the friendship of people befroe I went in - and then hearing James live ... WOW ... indescribable.
3) - Collectomania 2007 - My first time meeting James - I was stunned in how he actually spoke to me when I congratulated him on the concert. He is so giving and thoughtful. And - the picture ... he put his arm round me - James-fog arrived!!
4) - Cardiff, July 2007 - That concert was great - James was hot (see icon!!) - and so obviously had been enjoying his trip to Britain
5) - I'm out of James events!! But one other memorable event I have been to was The Festival of rememberance at The Royal Albert Hall in 1985. It is the service where they drop the poppies with the 2 minutes silence - and the atmosphere was electric.

Date: 2008-04-04 08:00 am (UTC)1) Cadbury's Mint Chocolate - Just love mint choc, and Cadburys is my favourite brand - so to me thatcomes out top.
2) Mint Aero - The bar, although I won't say no to the bubbles, I think the bars have a better texture.
3) Topic Bars - love the combination of the soft filling and the nuts ... quite like Snickers as well, but Topic is the best of that range.
4) Curly Wirly - I love caramel/chocolate - and this bar also has the advantage of childhood memories - I think i was in my early teens when it arrived on our shelves.
5) Fry's mint cream - more mint ... and the only way I like dark chocolate - I will often get this if I am driving as it just gives me (and my taste buds) a zap on a long journey.

Date: 2008-04-04 11:22 am (UTC)Anyway - Here goes -
1) TOUCHED
How can Spike's amazing speech not be in the list - and for me dod get the number one slot. He is so open - and the Spike that I love is in that speach. Combine that with the fact that for the first time, Buffy allows herself to respond - to give him and them the quality time that they both deserve.
2) CHOSEN
Buffy gives Spike the aamulet - and the look on Spike's face is magic. The two of them finish their amazing arc as equals - fighting together .... in the right sense of the phrase.
3) BECOMING 2
The start of their relationship - and they both try tohelp each other out - Buffy invites Spike in and trusts him with her mother, Spike covers Buffy's lies. So an amazing scene when you think of who the 2 of them actually are.
4) TABULA RASA
Even without their memories they know they are together - and who can not vote that kiss at the end as something that knocks the rest of us to the ground with very weak knees!
5) SOMETHING BLUE
Their engagement was lovely - it showed how they could work together, laugh together - and fight together. Spikes continual jealousy over Angel and Buffy's teasing over Spikes name and a Church wedding ... and they resolve the wedding statue debate with the addition of blood in the form of paint - oh for a relationship that could have been!!

Date: 2008-04-05 04:37 pm (UTC)Katie always reminds me of a guy who used to be in one of my bands - he always wore long sleeves ... and he was just plain weird - so when I heard that song I thought that was maybe the reason and therefore after that when I saw him I always grinned after that!!

Date: 2008-04-04 11:34 am (UTC)1) DAYDREAMING
Something I do a lot - whether its that I am rich and can travel where I want when I want ... well, I could become a true James-stalker that way; or whether its a happy ending for Buffy and Spike - I can easily loose myself ... especially if I am meant to be doing paper-work!!
2) CHEAP WHITE WINE
Sorry folks - but my real pleasure is cheap white wine - preferably slightly sweet! I will drink most alcohol (and it actually doesn't affect me ... but not red wine,a s that give me an instant headache)
3) SWEATS AND CHOCOLATES
I always have some near me - and love chewing - toffees, wine gums ... etc Don't tell the dentist
4) BEING SINGLE
Yes, I know that there are most of you who will tell me the pleasure a family can bring - and I am not saying that if the right guy came along I would say "No" ... But I just love having myself to please - can watch what TV I want, eat what I want and when I want ... Selfish I know - but fun!
5) MY SLEEPWEAR
Don't know if this counts - but I admit it (unless I am in a hotel) I sleep naked ... Have done over the last 18 months - and I love it! I also love wearing sexy undies - and to me that is a tiny thong, but a good but nice bra (due to my build!!)

Date: 2008-04-04 11:42 am (UTC)1) STEAK
Yes, you guessed it, I am not a vegitarian! My favourite restaurant meeal is Rump steak, well done, served with chips(fries), mushroom, fried onions and garden peas.
2) SAUSAGE AND CHIPS
My absolutly favourite meal of all - English por sausages, fat chips (with salt and vinegar) and pickled onions.
3) PORK KEBABS
I can't be bothered to make kebabs - and I love Pork based ones (these are the ones on long skewers I am talking about) We had some great ones in Kos - with green pepper and onion ... really simple, but tasty. Served with mixed salad ... and chips.
4) CHICKEN KIEV
Providing it is cheese and bacon filling - not garlic (which I absolutely loathe). Served with mixed vegetables and boiled potatoes if possible.
5) CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM PIE
In England a lot of places serve a lovely "home-made" pie with a puff pasty topping. Served with vegetables (and a few chips)
Yes - you guessed it - Chips and chips would be my real favourite meal!!

Date: 2008-04-04 11:55 am (UTC)1) TORCHWOOD
And I was one of those who watched it last year - I will admit there has been a major advantage in watching this season!!
2) DOCTOR WHO
I have been a Dr Who fan since I was 4 and used to visit my friend and watch from behing the sofa! I will admit that I like some doctors better than others - but think David Tennant is a great doctor.
3) HOLBY CITY
My parents watch the whole run of Casualty etc - but I don't "do" squeam!! This is quite good as you get to see the inside of a hospital plus a "soap" ... but without either going "over the top"
4) EGGHEADS
A quiz show, for those non-British, on at 6pm. I really enjoy the vast range of questions - the theory is I am learning something - but sometimes I just realise how little I know on a lot of subjects!
5) SONGS OF PRAISE
I love singing along with the hymns - we don't have an evening service at our Church that I can get to now, so this is "the next best thing" ... Also brings back memories when I was on one of the shows 10 years ago - fascinating how it is all put together.
