Thought For The Day

I came across a verse in the Bible this morning that I wanted to share with you all.  It is an answer to a question we all ask - just wish that I could have this verse permanently in my mind - 

"At just the right time I will respond to you.  ... I will help you." Says The Lord
Isaiah 49 v8

I am hopeless with the concept of patience - so maybe this will help to remind me that God's timing, isn't my timing.

Today that was a verse I really needed - so just thought I would share my good start to the day with you all.

Thanks for that thought. Yes, patience is not always my strong suit either. I prefer doing things to sitting around waiting. And His "right time" never seems to come fast enough for us impatient types.

My Mum has a motto on her kitchen wall -

Give me patience, Lord, But hurry

I am terrible - and it is something I need to remember every day

Gosh yes... I need to be reminded of this verse over and over again. I can never seem to be patient enough. Thank you for posting this!

I am terrible at waiting for God's timing. I can quote it to others - but find myself stressful - so I thought what a great verse to post - and hopefully help me to remember.

Thank you for this! I think it´s so hard for us to understand that God works under His own time, and we have to accept that His timing is always better.

We know that God see things from Eternity ... but when you live minute by minute it is hard.

Easy to say "His will is best" to others ... but not so easy to say it to myself!
