I Don't Do Mornings!!

That is not a recent discovery, but anyone who knows me realises that!  

The only time I am awake and focussed is when I am off on my holidays - or last year on 2 of my trips to see James.  Then, with a proper reason, I can be awake at any time of the day or night!

This morning, however -



For those who don't know it - I live and work at home.  So my phone is in my hallway ... Yes, you guessed it!  A patient phoned to make an appointment ... for tomorrow (which makes matters worse) ... They phoned at 6.30 am .... yes, 6.30!!  My alarm clock is set for 7.15 am, which in my opinion is early enough anyway!!

So I wasn't all that happy ... who knows what dreams I was having at the time!!

Ask them politely what time they get up and then make the appointment for 15 minutes before that. :-)

Seriously, who calls someone that early? I think your patient needs a neurologist. There's obviously something wrong with their brain, not their back.

Thanks - I thought it was just me annoyed as they had woken me up "in the middle of the night" ... and no apology!!

That's the sort of typical thing my father in law would do - he goes to bed at 9.30 and so is up at around 6am and thinks everyone else should be too.
I hope you make you client suffer a bit...just pull them around a little bit extra *winks*

Gee who calls for appointments at that time. I am an early riser but would never call anybody before 9am. Maybe you should stress your office hours to them so it wont happen again.

Yes - I am the same, don't phone before 9 and after 7 ... and try to avoid lunch time as well! You tend to think that it is a family emergency when a call comes through then.

Yeah see that's just wrong - they are morning people, but they don't need to be calling at 6:30 in morning! Oh, I would have been ticked!

I only get up happy and awake in the morning if I am going on vacation, to mackinac island or cedar point...that's it. :)
