I'm Naked

 ... Well that got your attention, didn't it??

Actually I am talking about my finger ... YAY ... the bandage is off - and staying off for most of the tme now.

I still have swelling, stiffness and pain ... and the finger is really temperature sensative ... but the skin has healed.  It was 2 months, to the day, that I was able to let my hand become naked again!

Thanks for all your support over the last 9 weeks.  I will keep you updated about the mobility - but for now I can say:-

YAY!!

Thanks - just having it unbandaged ill help me to move it asier - which will help the swelling ... I hope!

Yes - it was 2 months from the fall to when the bandage came off - as one of the doctors pointed out about 1/2 way through, I was healing well ... for my age!

Why is it that whatever happens to us the doctors always blame it on our age ? I hate the way they have to rub it in that we're not youngsters any more - In my mind i'm still 16...lol

The first doctor who said that cheered Toni up, as she was there ... she is 4 years younger than me ... and really loved that ... as she recons I haven't actually reached 16 yet!!
