debris4spike: (Yay!)

Well mine was this week!!

First there was the postman arriving with (a bill) and my ticket for Union Chapel with James, in May

Then - I have annoyed my neighbours for 10 minutes!

Translation reads - I played my saxophone for 10 minutes.  Not the clarinet - the keys are harder to play correctly - and my finger is killing me as I type - but I am still over-the-moon

Yah ... and Yah again!!

*g* that was the only best thing that happened to me this morning too (apart from your cheer up comments) My tickets for UC and Borderline arrived too. Told my boss and my mother, who was there for a few minutes, that if i start panicking mid-april to remind me that I locked them in the petty chash ;) SEE YOU THERE :D

Oh I hope I'm going to get my ticket soon.
Did you get the mail from them, too, letting you know about a delay in delivery?

Because it said something about "let us know if you haven't received your ticket until a week before the event". And I'm going to be in London already a week before the gig.

God, I'm paranoid. *shifty eyes*

And don't you love it when the mailman brings you James? Last year when I got my CM tickets, I was like.. huh? why do I have to sign for the mail? I never sign for mail. See how my weird fan-brain works on occasion ;)

I hope it's getting here soon. I don't want any ticket-trouble. But I'm so glad that we have actual tickets this time in comparison to print-out emails.

I believe the photo tickets won't be shipped out until mid-March. I don't remember when they sent them out last year. Ah... just checked the site. They said something about 2 weeks prior to the event. I hope I'll get mine in time.

Oh I want mine, too *grumbles incoherently*

Hehe.. talk about panic. I'm already going through all the embaressing and stupid conversation I had with the man so far. Or it might be spices wine I just had ;)

That's definitely something to look forward to.

I played my saxophone for 10 minutes
I guess this is your first time trying that since the injury?

We had good things in the the mail this morning too - a parcel from Amazon with a book for J and a Buffy comic compilation for me, and BM got some car parts from eBay.

Pleased to see the finger is improving and you're getting to make music again.

Glad to know you're having a better Monday than I am. ;)

I had heard before that clarinet and saxophone have similar fingerings and that makes it possible for musicians to "double" on those instruments?

another Christian in love with Spike/James Marsters? Adding you if that's okay. It's kismet. I got involved late in the Buffy game as well and definitely was hooked and stuck around for Spike.

Oh, have you been reading Buffy Season 8 or Angel After the Fall? The second comic for Angel is Spike-centric, gorgeous cover. I NEVER got into comics (though I love my manga), but when I heard Joss was writing, and they were the official continuations of both shows, I was hooked.

Glad to hear the hand is getting much better....It wouldn't have annoyed me to hear you playing if I was your next door neighbour...I love sax music :)

My Union Chapel tickets arrived too :)

Yay! for being able to get back to playing music again - just remember not to over do it, or that nice young man will have to tell you off. :D

Got my Borderline and UC tickets too - and the fact that the first thing I saw when I opened the envelopes was 'This Is Not A Ticket' made me smile even more.

Yay!
EMMH must be doing wonders if you're playing your instrument again :-)

I may need to visit him for a while though. Ask [livejournal.com profile] re_animating, I have completely lost my voice. I have this horrid laryngitis.
::sigh::

I can't wait until I can go back to annoying my neighbors with shower singing again. Hahaha!
