My Work!

Over the last couple of weeks I said I had been decorating my office - well, it was only part of where I work - the treatment room itself didn't get touched.

As an osteopath we all work in different styles of surgeries.  And although I have a great icon of a topless Spike - let me assure you that I never get patients that gorgeous!!

Mine is also my dining room and the style is very similar to the rest of the house - assorted pictures,  ornaments, etc.  Anyway - OI took a couple of pictures so you can see both my style of "muddle" that I live in ... actually it looks tidy (the only room in the house that is) ... but also you can see where I work.

The computer wasn't turned on - so you can't glimpse my marvellous wallpaper that beanbeansmade me!

As I said - it's the only part of the house that is tidy ... you should see my coffee table in the lounge!!

Yes - CM photo in that pic ... and just off the shot is my Cardiff pic! (Both are copies, as I don't want the originals to fade!!

Very wise, maybe I should get copies of my pictures at some point. I'm going get one of my Cardiff pictures *points to icon* printed and maybe even signed.

Once my tests are through I believe I'll do some cleaning here, too. Even I don't like it anymore and I'm usually rebelling against overly tidyness ;)

Yes - that is what I am going to do when I go to CM in May ... like I did in Cardiff.

Tidyness - I can never find things ... just with a business, it is (sadly) expected!!

Well the muddle is the pictures etc - I have one brother who is "minimalistic" ... so you can imagine what he thinks

Thanks. I'm focusing on alot of Avon/Cally interaction in my stories at the moment hence the icon.

Thanks - yes, the hand is "slow but sure" - it will be some time before it is 100%, but that is mostly just slowly learning to treat it as normal again

Well -I can assure you it is the only bit of the house that ever looks any where near tidy ... I close my kitchen and lounge doors before I open the door to a patient!!

Arrgh - but do I admit how much was stacked just out of view??? No, seriously, this room is usually tidy - the rest of the house makes up for it though!!

Do your patients ask who that is in the photo with you, or are they all familiar with your James-love?

Any of my patients who don't know about James ... soon do! Actually I saw a patient this afternoon who actually recognised his name - if not the person in the picture.

Yes, that is the great thing about LJ that we get to see others work places etc.

Thanks - that was what I was actually aiming for! When I first started work, I worked for another osteopath where everything was white ... it was cold, to my way of thinking!

Oh yes - I am the main advert for James in my part of the country ... I should really get preferential treatment for all the free advertising he gets!
