Torchwood - Just A First Few Thoughts - Forever A James Fan!!

SQUEEEEEEE is still continuing .... Grin is still on my face -

Yes, James was back.  And in top form.

I did enjoy the episode, although I was one who had mostly enjoyed last years series of Torchwood anyway.

To me some of the enjoyment was the overall story - but, as ever, James acting was great.

We have all seen the kiss already, but what no one had commented on (that I had seen) was that his swagger was there.  He walked through the episode as if he was the star, not just the guest!  He looked like he was enjoying himself and his ability to portray sadness, fun, shock and exuberance were all there.

Yes, I am a James fan - but I would defy anyone who watched that episode not to become a fan!

I noticed the swagger too - I pictured Spike in his duster :)
I just love the way he shows a variation of emotions across his face, i'm so glad he's had a chance to really show his stuff again, he just excels in these sort of roles.

Just commented to spikereader that it sounds like a great start to Season 2. Currently downloading ep - have about 2 hours to wait till I can see it ::sigh::

Several kind people have posted the episode online, so I'll probably download it tonight. With all the buzz on my f-list, I'll never be able to wait until next week.

No - it was a great episode (although I do quite like Torchwood anyway) .... but James!!! He was certainly the star!

I get the feeling it was worth all the hype and wait.
It doesn't matter where you go on the internet at the moment you cant seem to escape it!!!

But I will just keep plodding through the first season of Torchwood and act surprised when I get to this one - shall I! ;>

Kep going - it will be worth the wait!! Mind you I was one of the few who had enjoyed most of the first series - so you aren't the oly one who didn't watch it ... although I think some of the rest of my f-list just headed straight to James ...can't say I blame them!
