And The News Is ... There Is No News!

Just letting you know that I went back to the hospital today.

My hand is slowly getting better - although it is still bleeding, but not bad enough to worry the specialist I am now under ... She runs the Fracture clinic, and has also spent time in Plastic Surgery ... so really just the person I need.  She was quite positive - but now wants to see me each week.  

Until the skin is healed the finger still has to be in a sling as much as possible and must be splinted so I can't move it at all.  

Today she asked me to slightly move the next joint down and the finger is stiff - but no extra pain to move it - so that was good.

Apparently the increasing pain is just the nerves returning to life ... just wish they would do that quietly!!

On a different note - 

I am back at Mum and Dads as it is hard to live one-handed ... and so I am getting looked after.

Anyway - we sat down to tea - they put the TV on to watch the news and 

SQUEEEEEEEEE

Yes - it wad the trailer for Torchwood - James .... squeeeeee!!  

It took me some time to settle enough for M&D to find out what I was leaping around about ... Their comment ... "Oh, we should have guessed it was him"

{{{{{hugs}}}}}} on the pain. So glad you are on the mend though. Amazing how much we use parts we take for granted when they are in working order (but glad you are being waited upon at the moment *G*).

LOL about your M&D reaction to the understandable squeeing...too funny.

Hope the rest of the year is completely pain free for you hon. DJ wants his mommy hale and hearty and your friends quite agree.

Sorry to hear the hand is causing some pain as it is healing - but the good thing is it's getting better slowly. Its nice that you parents are there to help you whilst you are recovering.

Yes - James is the guest for the 1st episode - as an "ex" of Cap'n Jack!! That is why he did the concert in July in Cardiff

Try to see it from the positive side, where there is pain there is still nerves and everything which means it's healing and there will be feeling in them later *hugs* and SQUEEEEE for the trailer :D

Glad your hand is healing, even though slowly, and that you're being well looked after. Bet you don't have to suffer your mum and dad jumping up and pointing at James on the screen every time the TW trailer is shown though, as Chris has gotten into the habit of doing. *g*
