debris4spike... And I hope that you are all behaving yourselves in my absence!
Things are going smoothly - but a bit hectic ... Especially as Kai's idea of walking with me to check the horses is to disappear! Still he returned, in one piece ... quite happy ... maybe he was just glad I had almost lost my voice yelling!
Spike hasn't emerged from his house as there has been too much rain - so he is back to a diet of cucumber, rather than grass.
Ben is as good a boy as ever!!
As for the horses - all OK.
DJ has had a couple of lazy days in the end - no bath, as it is raining too mush to get him dry before he goes back to his field and rolls again! Today, I had to go into his field as Smudge had managed to damage the fly-sheet he was wearing - so as well as Smudge fidgetting I had to contend with a very jealous DJ!! Still - they both had a carrot, so ended up friends with them both ... I hope.
Well I had better get ready for work - and then back off to feed the dogs, before coming back here to go to Band practice ... and so it goes on.
Hope all is well with my f-list.
Got an e-mail today about James latest project - so I am really pleased for him ... An early Birthday present, isn't it?

Conrad - 3 - Unbroken - and already almost 17 hands high!!
Ben is a 12 1/2 year old German Shepherd - Kai is a 4 year old Staffie ... and the tortoise is called Spike (and that wasn't my idea!!)

Got the dvd yesterday - thank you so much. Haven't watched it yet, despite thinking that watching it while Chris isn't around to complain about me ogling James in his undies is a good idea I might end up scaring myself silly and not getting to sleep.

Lego Spike - what a thought - I won an award for my lego when I was 10 ... so now I need to "do" the Spike half of your icon, don't i???!!!!! Is he any relation of Thunderbird Spike?

I think there's some sort of toy conspiracy going on. *g*
I had two postcards - one from each of the girls which they'd written themselves (something to keep forever, I think), and they have two surprises for me which I'm going to like. They were sitting in Poole harbour for about an hour and I got lots of texts from Bethan - she was itching to tell me what they'd got me.

Oh! I might get to go horseback riding this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that I find someone to work from 4p-10p on Sat... then I'm all set :-)
