DJ - What A Pretty Boy!!

You see by my icon - even Spike agrees - or is it me he is talking to?

As most of you know I have been plaiting DJ's main on hot days - it still doesn't get 100% even, but I am getting better - so behind the cut are a couple of pictures that I took of him 10 days ago.

Please don't notice where I hadn't managed to get rid of all his layer of mud that he came in with!!

Certainly takes some time when he gets bored and tries to move in mid-task ... but he is learning as well!!

I think he must have read somewhere that mud-packs are good for the skin ... well thats his excuse for coming in more brown than grey!!

I would just love to put my arms around him and give him a big hug because he looks so beautiful. But of course that would be no good for the macho image.
So tell him I thought he looked very handsome. And tell him thank you for all his good wishes for his Aussie cousin. We are having a reasonable day today as Clippy is grazing, which is better than standing in a corner feeling miserable.

Oh yes - he does often look at you as if you should be worshipping him - I think he thinks he is the only beautiful boy around - I shall pass on your message to him as well ... LOL

Yes - an apartment wouldn't work for DJ - there is no muddy puddle to roll in!!

Great job of the plait...he looks so much like my first horse(and the same colouring) that I had when he was around 7 years old..he was a Dartmoor X TB so was very similar in build and size to your DJ, he started off as a roan when he was a foal and finished up completely white by the time he was in his 20's

He is going from jet-black at birth, via iron grey to this ... Toni sais that he is going white as he is working with me ... I tell her he is silver ... and therefore more distinguished!! LOL
