debris4spike: (Spike talking.)

With LJ being quiet I spent a few minutes yesterday, before it all went down (!) centering (etc) the layout of my page - something I had been meaning to do for ages.

It's all Ok now - except for my icon with James that [personal profile] kazzy_cee made me - How do I get it centered - what is the code?

Hoping someone can help.

Thanks for the help - it has now been answered by [profile] coffeecat77 So now I am all central!!

Also hoping my English friends are OK - and my European friends are also surviving the heat.

Glad to see you haven't been swept away - the images we've been seeing on TV look a bit scary.

HTML and I aren't close friends so can't help you with the centring problem.

I'm not quite sure, but I think the code should be:

"center"iconlink"center"

Maybe you'll give this a try.

This should work:

< center > pretty icon < /center >

But leave out the spaces.

Ah, I guess the HTML gods couldn't just keep it simple. ;)

No, I wasn't at Cardiff (sniff) but I am going to DragonCon for some Jamesy goodness, yay.

< p align="center" > < /p >

or

< div style="text-align: center;" > < /div >

The "center" tag is/has become obsolete.
