Craft Is Still Alive!

Just wanted to say that I went to an amazing demonstration today - Weaving.

Some of the work was where the lady had taken a picture of a sunset and then woven this onto a picture - so now the actual scene came more to life - Amazing.   There were also some abstract ones using different textures - including bin bags and bailer twine.

I prefered the pictures - which sadly I know I can never do, as I am actually colour blind - but it is still lovely to be able to admire someone else's talent.

I am always in awe of some of the wonderful craft people do and the materials they use like bin bags and turn them in to art.

Wow I learn a little more about you *your color blind* so your world is black, white and grey?

No - my world is green and purple!! I don't see yellow or brown - only green ... and I don't see grey, only purple. I also can't see cream/beige/ pale "whatever" as they look murky white - So I see colour - just not quite as the rest of the world does!

You see - all you are learning about me is how mad I really am!!
