... !!! Yes - they involve James!

At long last - I have a free evening - I have even re-organised a computer tuorial - and now I am parent free, ironing free - and generally have some time to be able to indulge ... JAMES!!!

My great friend spikereaderhas sent me "Storm Front". I was able to listen to some before Mum and Dad came - but now .... tonight ... a bottle of wine, some chocs and James ... What more could I want (well other than the guy himself!)

Wow - what a great book - although I think THE voice means that even if it wasthe phone book it would sound lovely!!
I am doing one of the city and guilds courses - ongoing, just general computer studies - in theory to keep the brain active!

Wow - what a great book

It's a fantastic series - which really starts kicking in from about book 4. I'm eagerly anticipating the publication of book 9 "White Night" which is due out in April (not to be confused with "Summer Knight").

I shall get on to copying the CDs for book 2 for you.

And I know what you mean about listening to him read the phone book. I know I'll love listening to him reciting poetry even though I'm not that into poems, just because of the voice. I met a LJ friend in London for Words and Music, and she has an amazing voice (southern states of America) and I could listen to her read the phone book too. *g*

Chris keeps saying that I should do some sort of computer course and go into business setting up and fixing computers. Sounds like a bit too much effort to me. :D

My computer course was one I started a couple of years ago to encourage my friend - and then she didn't join! I am meant to do 2-4 hours a week ... but it is very flexable ... however I usually only manage one hour. It is good - but now I have discovered more of the joys of LJ I do spend some more time on the computer - all be it playing ... Still - got to get my priorities right (just don't tell your Chris I said that!)

Neither - you're welcome to keep them, and blank cds are so cheap in Tescos that it would probably cost more in postage to send them. I'm happy for you to have them, and even happier that you enjoyed the story.
