So that means the summer is completely over.

We Brit's are "celebrating" St Swithin's Day ... as we were reminded of by James in his message a couple of weeks ago ... So, the poem we will all be quoting today is :-

St Swithun's day if thou dost rain
For forty days it will remain
St Swithun's day if thou be fair
For forty days 'twill rain no more
