Going A Long Way Fast

debris4spike... well slowly really.
I woke up today with a terrible head cold - and as i had to drive out to see DJ, Spike and the other horses (Toni is away visiting her daughter who has had surgery) I thought I would bring DJ in from the field to give him a groom. He is still losing his winter coat - so thought I would make him feel better!
Anyway I then decided that I would ride him - bareback - around the yard. So we stayed mainly at walk (although did some trotting) and spent the time working on circles and un-doing and re-closing a gate. So although I was only riding for about 14 minutes we worked hard, but slow! And as he was bareback I ended up with very hairy jodhpurs!!
