Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 03:49 pm... yes, so much for being restful and catching up with the LJ, icons etc.
Late-ish on Sunday I had a text asking me if I could work much of this week. I said I could do Monday 9 - 5 and today till 1pm, but then I have Brenda arriving. I had a text from her about 1/2 hour ago saying she was on her way.
So I have been hurtling round finishing the cleaning, sorting out food for today (I have Tim & Claire coming for dinner as well)... so all in all super busy (although at least my Bank balance thanks me!)
So no real news as I am "not really here", but wanted to catch up with you all, even if it is to say "Goodbye" until the weekend. So ...
8. What was the last bad movie you watched right to the bitter end? Why did you keep watching?
I did say I wasn't impressed with the verion of Emma I saw a couple of weeks ago ... but was too lazy to change channel or put on a DVD! No better excuse than that.
9. August 9 is "Book Lover's Day". What book are you loving right now? If you're not loving any book at the moment, what book have you previously loved?
I love reading the Bible, and do it most mornings.
The first adult book I loved was Gone with the Wind (before I saw the film) and I read it overnight for 2 nights!!
There are a few random bboks I love ... Anne of Green Gables series, as well as Mary of Carisbroke and The Following of the Star
10. If your home was being redone on one of those house makeover/reno shows, what would you want to have done to your home?
Nothing!
Well more shelves etc ... but no way would people throw stuff of mine away, and I have loads ... and loads
11. If you were forced to take part in a reality/competition show (e.g. Big Brother, Survivor, Bake Off, etc.), but you could choose which show to be on, what would you pick?
Either Bake Off or Sewing Bee
12. What's the most illegal thing you've done?
Where do I start?
I don't like open wounds and am now a nurse.
I was told never to write anything, but have an AO3 account, complete with stories.
I am colourblind, yet love making icons
I am accident prone ... and took up horse riding as a 35 year old
