As I walked out of The Museum of London I asked the guide which road I needed to go on to get to St Pauls ... her answer -

"Straight ahead, St Pauls is on the left hand side of the road, you can't miss it"

We both laughed, as she commented on her her own reply.  It's true, the cathedral is slightly unmissable!

Anyway, before I looked at the cathedral itself I walked over to this ruin of
Christchurch Greyfriears was bombed during WWII, but has been turned into a public garden ... a haven of peace in a busy part of London.

From there I walked to see the cathedral itself. Sadly I didn't pay to go in - in 1986, Tim & I had been to a service there to celebrate my school's 450th anniversary, so I have good memories of my last visit.

From here I walked down to The Millenium Bridge, and over the river.

I said when I went to London I would miss seeing James this time - but I did see
The Globe was reconstructed in 1997 not far from where the original had been, the home of Shakespeare's acting.

And, so sadly, time to make my way to Victoria, and thus back to Exeter. It may have been brief, but I had fun on my travels around London.
