WOW - What A Race

As most of you know I only watch one sporting event a year - the Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race.

This year, Cambridge, who I support, won.  However I am not as happy as you would expect.

The first half of the race was stunning - close faught and interesting.

Then the race had to be stopped and re-started as a swimmer got between the 2 boats. As you can imagine, this took some time to sort out, and get everyone to a re-start place, and then to get started again.

Soon after that the Oxford crew, pushed the Cambrigde crew a bit too much, their blades clashed and Oxford lost one.

So, Cambridge went on to win ...

However, that wasn't the end of it.  On arriviving at the finishing line, one of the Oxford crew collapsed.

So, although it was a Cambridge win, it was under sad and unusual circumstances.
