I have one particular thing that really does upset me .... but I'm trying to accept/deal/forget/move on ... so for that reason (as well as it is personal ... and mad) that isn't the subject of the day!

One major thing that does upset me is people's lack of manners ... their lack of respect for other peoples property, beliefs, etc.

But, for me, it goes deeper than that - I hate the fact that people can't say Thank You - no, I'm not saying any of my f-list are like that ... but just people in shops .... both staff and customers.  How long does it take to say "Thank You" ... and how much pleasure does it give?  To actually step back and take a second to think, then speak.

The phrase seems to be that we should "express ourselves" - well, you all know I have a deap faith, but I do hope that I don't preach - if asked, I'll answer a question..  I would not deface a building of another faith - or generally run one down.

So - yes a moan ... but that's what I was asked to do!

2011 - Day 10

Christmas over - and yet in January I have 5 birthdays ... so today I have been out and bought both my Aunts something.  We don't exchange large gifts, but it's nice to get someting - especially if it's in the sales - LOL

Bude's Christian Bookshop is called The Ark Angel .... when it was first started it was on a canal barge in the canal - the boat had been a gift, and for 10 years it stayed there ... but when it began to rot it moved to this location ... between a butchers and an ice-cream cafe!  It sells Christian "stuff", but is also the only shop that will get music books, sheet music etc.  And if a local group puts ona  concert/play etc ... then they pre-sell tickets.
