debris4spikeThe film I was watching last night is certainly an "old one" ... Lost Horizon was made in 1937 and is the story of a British Foreign Secretary (Ronald Colman) on his way back to England, who was diverted to Shangri La. It is about the concept of finding Paradise ... but of love, peace, and how most of the group want that.
The original film has been damaged over the years and now, on the DVD there are a few parts where the soundtrack is playing over publicity stills, to try to maintain the storyline as much as possible.
